Wellesley Cub Scouts blasting off in September

Wellesley has two active Cub Scout packs in town, and both are looking for boys and girls K-5 to join this month.

The Scouts provide a way to learn new skills, make friends, and get more involved in the community.

rockets cub scoutsPack meetings and outdoor activities (grades K-5) usually take place once or twice a month and den meetings (grade specific) are held separately one day each month. Adventures may include taking a local hike, the Pinewood Derby, campouts, fishing, canoeing, skiing, tubing, or an overnight adventure like Battleship Cove.

Information/recruiting Events:

  • Pack 185: Sunday, September 8th, 4-6pm at Kelly Field at Bates Elementary School: Model Rocket Build and Launch.
  • Pack 140: Sunday, September 15th, 4:30-6:30pm at Sprague Elementary School Fields: Model Rocket Build and Launch.
