Wellesley Village Church to hold dedication of Revolutionary War Monument

All are welcome to attend an event of historic significance at Wellesley Village Church at 2 Central St.

On Sunday, September 29, at 11:30am, a newly installed monument in the cemetery of the historic church will be dedicated. This monument honors sixteen members of the Village Church faith community who served in the American Revolutionary War and who are buried in the cemetery. The Wellesley Veterans Council and American Legion Post 72, in collaboration with the Col. Henry Knox Artillery Regiment Color Guard, will open the dedication with a salute to the flag and close the dedication with a three-musket volley salute.
