Elizabeth Seton Residence holding Casino Night

Casino NightWellesley’s Elizabeth Seton Residence, a ministry of the Sisters of Charity (Halifax) will hold its Casino Night on Thursday, Oct. 24 in the Mount Saint
Vincent Dining Room. This fundraiser will feature games, a raffle, a silent auction, beer, wine and a
full array of appetizers. All proceeds will benefit the Elizabeth Seton Residence.

The Casino Night is a change from the usual Meet the Need dinners that have been held in the past to raise funds.

Corporate and individual sponsorship opportunities are available. Advance registration is required (tickets will not be available at

The Elizabeth Seton Residence is a Catholic, not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility offering short-term rehabilitation and long-term care at 125 Oakland St., in Wellesley.

 


Wellesley’s Kennedy returns as National Braille Press trustee

National Braille Press has announced the appointment of three new Trustees and the return of a former one, Wellesley’s David Kennedy.

Kennedy is a financial professional who has been actively involved with National Braille Press for decades.

National Braille Press creates products and programs to support braille literacy in the blind community and to provide access to information that empower blind people to actively engage in work, family, and community.
