The Rotary Club of Wellesley will host an exclusive presentation, “Protecting Wildlife,” by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW), at the Club’s October 22 meeting at 6:30pm, at MassBay Community College, 50 Oakland St, Wellesley Hills. This special event will offer a unique opportunity to gain insight into the groundbreaking work IFAW is doing worldwide to protect and care for animals and their habitats.

IFAW guest speakers Katie Moore, senior director, Animal Rescue and A.J. Cady. senior program advisor will discuss the following:
- IFAW’s vision and mission in the context of today’s environmental challenges
- Recent wildlife rescue operations—Hear about their field teams and their experiences in emergency rescues, habitat restoration, and successful rehabilitation efforts.
- Success stories from the field—Discover heartwarming and inspiring stories of animals saved through IFAW’s programs, from majestic elephants and tigers to marine life such as whales and dolphins.
- Rescuing animals in war zones (such as Ukraine) and during disasters (such as the recent Helene and Milton hurricanes).
- Future initiatives and how you can help—Be among the first to learn about IFAW’s upcoming campaigns and projects and how you can protect wildlife and their ecosystems.
