This Wellesley house will be haunted starting Oct. 27

Wellesley’s Stanley Helinski, with serious inspiration from daughter Gabby, has put in well over a month to convert their backyard into a haunted attraction. So you better go check it out between Oct. 27 and Oct. 31 (Halloween).

“It’s homemade of course, but it’s full of animatronics, jump scares and even a pepper’s ghost illusion,” Helinski writes of the free haunted house, now in its second season.

“I have been obsessed with haunted houses since I was a kid and finally bit the bullet last year to make it happen, and I’m so glad I did,” he says.

Having done the haunted house last year, it did take less time to set up this time around. Last year, the haunted house was open only on Halloween, so this year marks an expansion to more nights (7-9pm, though probably a little later on Halloween itself).

If you’re brave, head to 111 Parker Rd. (NOT to be confused with 11 Parker Rd., down the street). Any questions? Hit up Helinski at shelinski@gmail.com.
