Thanksgiving conversation starter: Wellesley issues preliminary real estate property assessments
The Wellesley Board of Assessors on Wednesday released the fiscal year 2025 preliminary assessments. Based on viewing a limited sample, they aren’t going down in value.
The town says “preliminary/proposed assessments are made available through a public disclosure program conducted by the assessors as part of the Department of Revenue (DOR) Certification that takes place every five years.”
The proposed assessments are available until Thursday, Dec. 5 for review online or in-person at the Assessor’s office at 888 Worcester St., Suite 140. The office can be reached by phone at 781-431-1019 ext. 2275.
