Happy first day of Chanukah! - The Swellesley Report

Happy Chanukah, Wellesley! The eight-day celebration started Dec. 25 at sundown. A light on the menorah will be lit each day of the holiday through Jan 2, 2025. You can see the lights make their progress on the front lawn of Town Hall.

Holiday Stroll, tree lighting, menorah lighting, Wellesley — The first light of Chanukah was lit in front of the Wellesley Square fire station earlier this month during the annual Holiday Stroll.
