Wellesley High student-athletes earn All-Scholastic honors

The Boston Globe has published its list of All-Scholastic student-athletes for fall sports, and Wellesley High School is well represented. That’s no surprise given the girls’ soccer and swim teams won state titles…

  • Football: Sophomore quarterback Lukas Prock
  • Girls soccer: Senior Annie Comella (an Athlete of the Year selection), junior Emily Burnham, senior Payton Keyes. Coach David Wainwright earned Division I Coach of the Year honors for leading the team to the state title.
  • Field Hockey: Junior Kayla Bohlin
  • Girls cross country: Senior Charlotte Tuxbury, freshman Maddie Tuxbury
  • Boys golf: Senior Brian Campbell
  • Girls swimming/diving: Coach Doug Curtin earned Coach of the Year for leading the team to the Division 2 title

Many other student-athletes earned All-Star and Honorable Mention recognitions.
