Carol Hardiman, the longtime administrative assistant for the Wellesley Middle School Performing Arts Department, passed away on April 13 after a long illness.
Carol Marie Hardiman (Whicker), formerly of Framingham, had moved to Bluffton, S.C. She is survived by her husband, Tom, their children and grandchildren, and beloved dog Coco.
According to Hardiman’s obituary, her jobs at the middle school and the Learning Center for Deaf Children in Framingham “fed her love of the arts and inspired her to write poetry and Children’s stories.”
Henry Platt, the retired longtime band director at the middle school, said Hardiman was “the first contact person for our department for many years and touched many lives in Wellesley.”
