Better to graduate from Wellesley HS an hour late, than never

WHS GRADUATION CEREMONY – REVISED START TIME

Dear Families,

As promised yesterday, I’m writing this update to let you know that we have decided moving 2025 WHS Graduation Ceremony start time to 6:00pm will give us the best opportunity to keep people as dry as possible and get our ceremony in. While there is no guarantee that moving to 6:00pm will be better than 5:00pm, we hope the cooling temperatures will stabilize the atmosphere somewhat.  And, if it does storm earlier, this gives us more time to clean up the field for everyone. 

This adjustment means that seniors need to be back at the high school and in the gym to line up at 5:00pm instead of 4:00pm.  Once we have the students here, we will communicate with them directly if we need to make any adjustments at that time.

Thank you for your understanding.  Please be prepared for the weather and then hope it won’t be necessary.

The seniors were phenomenal at rehearsal this morning. They’re excited and ready to graduate tonight and they’re happy to be outside.
