To the editor,
On behalf of P.A.W.S., Preschool at Wellesley Public Schools, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude for the generous grant awarded through the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club. We are honored and deeply appreciative to be a recipient this year.
Thanks to your support, we are thrilled to implement a new STEM curriculum, Seeds of STEM, which emphasizes problem solving, integrates key science concepts with engineering practices, and builds foundational STEM skills for our youngest learners. This grant will enable us to purchase the essential texts and hands-on materials needed for the successful launch of this exciting curriculum.
We are especially thankful for the dedicated volunteers who make this funding possible through your incredible fundraising events, including Wellesley Marketplace, the Wellesley Kitchen and Home Tour, and Wonder Run. Your commitment to supporting education and the broader Wellesley community makes a lasting impact.
We are truly grateful for this opportunity and look forward to sharing the positive effects your generosity will have on our students.
With heartfelt thanks,
Kristen Stacy, Director of Early Childhood, Wellesley Public Schools
Lisa Fox, Prek-5 Department Head of Science and Engineering
