Wellesley Business Buzz: Brookline Bank moves so they can throw a party; Olive Tree concierge primary care opens

The latest Wellesley, Mass., business news:

Brookline Bank knows how to have a party

Brookline Bank hosted a grand opening celebration for its new Wellesley Lower Falls office on Wednesday, June 4. Although the full-service Bank moved only a few doors down—from 5 Washington St., to 35 Washington St.—that didn’t stop the staff from throwing a fabulous shindig, complete with a sushi and dumplings spread, catered their neighbor, Jin’s Fine Asian Cuisine.

The sushi platters were almost too beautiful to dismantle. But after a few minutes of oohs, ahhs, and selfies, temptation won out and the crowd dug in.

Wellesley Select Board Chair Colette Aufranc and Charles River Regional Chamber Vice President Lise Elcock were on hand to participate in the ceremonial grand opening ribbon cutting. Representatives from the Charles River Regional Chamber of Commerce; local business leaders; Brookline Bank VIPs, as well as the rank-and-file; and bank customers (the real VIPs) also attended.
