Wellesley Police Chief Scott Whittemore mentioned during a recent Select Board meeting that there had been some concern that the celebrity bird was gone, but that Bob had been spotted at Rte. 9 and Oakland Street.
“Bob disappeared for a while in the spring and we were concerned about Bob, particularly my daughter, who was on the Turkey Naming Committee at St. John’s,” Whittemore said. “But Bob was back the other day and was in rare form, right up the middle of Washington Street pecking away… So our efforts to relocate Bob have failed. But he’s definitely back.”

Oh dear. Bob did not cross with the light the way his relatives in Wellesley Square do. Maybe one of Bob’s cousins should have a word with Bob. 😉
