A new sign has been displayed at the former La Toscana’s space at 99 Central St. in Wellesley Square for an Indian restaurant called Virsa The Punjab.
La Toscana’s closed in late spring.
We don’t have additional information on Virsa The Punjab at this time, other than that a permit for kitchen work is active.
Further east on Rte. 16 in Wellesley Singh’s Cafe has been surving Punjabi cuisine since 2009.
