Go Fund Me set up for family of driver who died in Wellesley car crash

August 13, 2025 by admin

Earlier this month in a single car crash on Forest St., Eddie Fucci’s vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree head on. Eddie was trapped in the vehicle and in traumatic arrest. Emergency personnel worked to extricate him from the car, but unfortunately, Eddie didn’t make it. An investigation revealed that he likely experienced a medical emergency prior to the crash, causing him to lose control of the vehicle and leave the roadway.

Now the most important person in Eddie’s life, his wife of 33 years, Laurie Fucci, is facing unimaginable loss and hardship without him. An admin for the Wellesley office of William Raveis Real Estate, Laurie is now left to navigate this grief while facing immediate financial challenges. With no funds available for medical or funeral expenses, and their only car totaled in the accident, Laurie is struggling to cover the costs of saying goodbye to Eddie and to secure a vehicle so she can continue working and supporting herself.

A Go Fund Me has been set up, and the support from friends, colleagues, and the community will help Laurie manage these urgent expenses and begin to rebuild her life. Every contribution will make a real difference as she faces the difficult days ahead, and your kindness will remind her that she is not alone. Please donate generously.
