More than 100 people on Aug. 2 protested in front of Wellesley Town Hall against the current federal administration’s actions, including the dismantling of government departments and removal of social programs and safety nets.
There were speakers, chants, and music.
The rally was organized by neighbors and supported by the League of Women Voters of Wellesley, Neighbors United Indivisible, Immigration Justice Group of Temple Beth Elohim, UU Wellesley Hills, and World of Wellesley.
There have been similar rallies on the green each of the past few months.
