Wellesley Council on Aging cornhole tournament delivers the fun
The Wellesley Council on Aging recently hosted a cornhole tournament that brought together participants of all skill levels for an afternoon of friendly competition. Players tossed beanbags with precision—and sometimes a little humor—while spectators cheered on every throw.

Thanks to Wingate Living, prizes were awarded to the top-performing teams, recognizing skill, strategy, and teamwork.
The highlight of the day was a special toss-off for a grand prize—a pair of Red Sox tickets— donated by a patron.
Competitors lined up for a final showdown, giving it their all for the chance to catch America’s favorite pastime live at Fenway. The winning toss brought big cheers and a photo-worthy celebration, capturing the camaraderie that made the event so memorable.
From seasoned cornhole veterans to first-time players, everyone walked away with smiles, prizes, and a sense of community spirit. The day was a perfect reminder that at the Wellesley COA, fun, friendship, and a little friendly competition make for unforgettable moments.
