The Friends of the Wellesley Council on Aging (FWCOA) recently hosted an after-hours Meet & Greet at the Tolles Parsons Center. With a cooler full of refreshments and classic cookout favorites—burgers, fries, and hot dogs—patrons gathered for a relaxed evening celebrating Wellesley’s seniors.
The Friends Group, a nonprofit organization, works year-round to support the Council on Aging by:
- Enhancing programs, services, and facilities at the Council on Aging.
- Expanding opportunities across health and wellness, fitness, the arts, literature, languages, and financial preparation.
- Keeping events affordable and accessible for all patrons.
- Identifying and applying for charitable grants to strengthen COA offerings.
