No more building! So many other options. Many vacant buildings already exist. Stop already!
I don’t think existing buildings, even vacant ones, are sufficient to meet the housing needs of seniors. The new building will likely be ADA-compliant and come with modern amenities for the new residents that the existing site’s liquor store and aging office building certainly don’t have. Never mind that repurposing mid-century commercial buildings for residential uses is almost never financially viable. What exactly is your complaint with new buildings, anyway?
