The town of Wellesley’s Recreation Department this week will set up a skating rink on one of the Hunnewell field basketball courts for the first time since 2018. The Department was set to assemble the rink and lay out sandbags on Monday, Jan. 12, and install the liner and fill the rinks on Tuesday, Jan. 13 after 11am.
An organizer behind youth hockey families seeking to get the rink installed, says if you’d like to volunteer on Tuesday morning, show up between 8-11am. You’ll need to sign a waiver when you get there.
Then we’ll just need the temps to drop…
