Seminar day at Wellesley High School is an annual event on the first Wednesday of March at which students, faculty, and community members share a unique story or teach about a topic outside of the normal curriculum.
We’ve presented in the past about Swellesley, as well as about… yo-yoing. It’s really fun.
WHS senior Alex Budson, a Student Congress officer, writes: “I look forward to Seminar Day as an opportunity to expose students to new topics and career paths, to promote student agency in choosing and running seminars, and to bring together members of the WPS community.”
Each seminar block will be held in person for an hour, and speakers can sign up for one, two, or all three blocks. Sign up by Feb. 20.
Schedule for Seminar Day 2026 on March 4:
- Advisory: 8:00-8:15 (students only)
- Block A seminars: 8:20-9:20
- Block B seminars: 9:25-10:25
- Block C seminars: 10:30-11:30
