DESCRIPTION: In this interactive workshop, participants will learn how to recognize common biases such as loss aversion, overconfidence, anchoring, and herd mentality in oneself and others. The group will take a trip down memory lane and examine how collective investor behavior can lead to market inefficiencies, bubbles, and crashes that traditional financial models might not explain. We will also review techniques to help participants make more rational and informed financial decisions.
Constantino (Tino) De Lollis is a Senior Facilitator at Impact Performance Group (IPG) in Wellesley. He has more than three decades of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining IPG, Tino held several key positions at Fidelity Investments where he was a Senior Vice President for the institutional distribution team. Tino graduated from Boston University with a degree in finance and later went on to earn a master’s degree in organizational psychology at Williams James College in Newton. Tino is a lifelong Wellesley resident and currently serves as treasurer for the Friends of Wellesley Veterans. This non-profit organization is focused on providing educational and social programs for our local veterans and helps to finance Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend and Veteran’s Parade.
Senior men from Wellesley and surrounding communities are invited for refreshments and conversation. Guests welcome.
