Wellesley Police arrests for December 2025-February, 2026: Forgery, OUIs & drugs in underwear

On February 11, 2026, at 2:06 p.m. Officer Carey was dispatched to Babson College to assist their campus police department with an arrest. They had taken a 22-year-old male party into custody. He was transported to the Wellesley Police Department for booking. He was afforded all rights and was later released on personal recognizance.
On February 10, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Officer Pino was dispatched to Wellesley College to assist their campus police department with an arrest. A 57-year-old male party was transported to the Wellesley Police Department for booking. He was afforded all rights and later transported to Dedham District Court.
On February 8, 2026, at 5:05 p.m. Officer Lopez was dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Worcester Street. The officers requested the operator’s driver’s license, and she indicated she could not locate it. She provided her name and date of birth and a query of this information showed there were four active warrants issued for the female part, one issued by Dedham District Court for Larceny Under $1,200, two additional warrants issued by Dedham District Court for Shoplifting and one issued by Peabody District Court for Shoplifting. The suspect was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and held without bail.
On February 7, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. Officer DiCenso was dispatched to a bank in Wellesley for a report of a male party posing as one of their customers. The male party indicated he wanted to open a business account and presented several forged documents to prove the business address was in Wellesley. The male party was later identified. He was uncooperative and resisted when officers placed him in custody. He was transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and held without bail.
On February 6, 2026, at approximately 9:50 p.m. Officer Drapkin was traveling on Worcester Street when he observed a Ford van and conducted a random query of the vehicle’s registration which showed the inspection sticker had expired in January 2025. Officer Drapkin stopped the vehicle and spoke with the operator, and requested his license and registration. A query of information showed there was a straight warrant for his arrest issued by the Attleboro District Court. He was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and later released on $100 bail.
On January 23, 2026, at 9:20 p.m. Officer Gaffney was dispatched to Worcester Street westbound for a report of an erratic operator that was swerving between lanes, struck a curb and nearly struck a utility pole. Officer Gaffney located the Infinity SUV and noticed it did not have headlights or taillights illuminated. Officer Gaffney attempted to stop the vehicle, and it continued to travel at approximately 32 mph on Worcester Street for another ¾ of a mile prior to stopping. Officer Gaffney made contact with the operator, and observed that the operator’s eyes were glassy and bloodshot, that there was a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person and he had slurred speech. The male party was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner and later released on personal recognizance.
On January 22, 2026, at 7:30 a.m. Officer Misho along with WPD Detectives went to the home of a suspect in Andover and took her into custody for a warrant issued by Dedham District Court for Larceny Over $250 from a person over 60. She was transported to the Wellesley Police Department where she was afforded all rights, booked in the usual manner and later transported to Dedham District Court.
On January 21, 2026, at 8:04 p.m. Officer Poisson was on patrol on Worcester Street when he observed a vehicle traveling a few cars in front of him swerve to the left, strike the curb and return to its lane of travel. Officer Poisson spoke with the operator, and requested his license and registration. He observed that his eyes were bloodshot and it took him a long time to locate his registration and license. The officers could detect a moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the operator’s person. He was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner and later released on personal recognizance.
On January 16, 2026, at 3:45 a.m. Sergeant D’Innocenzo was on patrol on Worcester Street when he observed a Ford sedan that was traveling in front of him and appeared to be having difficulty maintaining their lane of travel. He stopped the vehicle and spoke with the operator, and she indicated she did not have a driver’s license. A subsequent query of her information showed that there was an active default warrant for her arrest issued by the Roxbury District Court for Shoplifting, that she was not properly licensed and the vehicle she was operating was unregistered, uninsured and the registration plates on the vehicle did not belong to the vehicle. She was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and held without bail.
On January 16, 2026, at 8:45 a.m. Officer Misho was conducting traffic enforcement on Washington Street when he observed a Chevrolet SUV that did not have a valid inspection sticker. He stopped the vehicle and spoke with the operator. A query of his information showed that his license was suspended. He was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and transported to Dedham District Court.
On December 26, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Officer Shippole was conducting traffic enforcement on Worcester Street when she observed a Lexus sedan with an expired inspection sticker. She stopped the vehicle and spoke with the operator and owner. A query of his information showed that his license was suspended. He was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and later transported to Dedham District Court.
On December 22, 2025, at 12:20 p.m. Officer Ferrara was on patrol and observed a Jeep drive past his location with temporary registration plate issued by the state of New Jersey. He conducted a query of the registration which showed it was registered to a Ford Fusion and expired on December 21 st . He stopped the vehicle and made contact with the operator. A query of his information showed that his license was suspended. He was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner and later released on $300 bail.
On December 21, 2025, at 2:57 a.m. Officer Carr was dispatched to the area of Forest Street for a report of an erratic operator. The officer located the vehicle making a right hand turn from Forest Street onto Washington Street and then the vehicle made an abrupt U-turn to head west on Washington Street despite their being a vehicle traveling west on Washington Street. The vehicle went over the curb and partially onto the sidewalk and began heading west at a slow rate of speed. Officer Carr stopped the vehicle on Washington Street at Rice Street and made contact with the operator. When speaking with the operator, officers could detect an odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from his person. He agreed to take some reasonable tests of balance and coordination to determine if he could safely operate a motor vehicle. He was unable to successfully complete these tests. The operator was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and later released on personal recognizance.
In the fall of 2025 Detectives began investigating illicit drug transactions occurring in Wellesley. They believed individuals residing in an apartment on Washington Street were purchasing drugs from an individual in Rhode Island. On December 23, 2035, at 2:25 p.m. Detective Mankavech observed a vehicle traveling on Washington Street and recognized the driver of the vehicle, who he was aware did not possess a valid driver’s license. He observed the male party park and walk towards an apartment building. The officer spoke with the man and stated he was aware he did not have a valid driver’s license and told him he believed he had illegal drugs in his possession. The suspect stated he had drugs in his jacket pocket and in his underwear. The suspect was taken into custody, transported to the station, booked in the usual manner, afforded all rights and held on $50,000 bail.
