Learn to play Rummikub at Wellesley Free Library

You’re invited to learn and play Rummikub at Wellesley Free Library on four Thursdays starting on June 25.

Drop in and play for free; all materials provided.

This is a tile-based game for 2 to 4 players that combines the strategy of the rummy card game with the tile manipulation of mahjong. The goal is to be the first to clear your rack by forming numbered “runs” and “groups”

Organizer James Kaufman says “I learned to play Rummikub last year and have been enjoying it and sharing it with friends ever since.  I thought it would be fun to teach others.  Michelle Techler at the library agreed to give it a try.  I am also in conversation with Council on Aging about getting something started there.”
