Ex-Wellesley Little Leaguer Toomey signs Major League Baseball contract

Congrats to Jack Toomey, a former Wellesley Little League star who has signed a professional baseball contract with the New York Mets.

Toomey, who played baseball for Holy Cross and then Boston College, is a speedy right-handed outfielder with excellent hitting skills. He played his high school ball at St. Sebastian’s School in Needham.
