The Great Swell-ephant Migration - The Swellesley Report

Like seemingly everyone else in the area, we checked out the impressive Great Elephant Migration public art display on the Commonwealth Avenue Mall between Dartmouth and Fairfield Streets.

The elephants, made from an aggressive invasive weed called Lantana camara, are still looking great a couple of years after we first saw then in Newport, R.I.

The project is inspired by life in the Nilgiri Hills of Southern India.
