Roughly 27.1% of registered voters in Wellesley cast ballots for the State Primary on Sept. 1, and based on the *unofficial numbers released by the town, Wellesley results did differ in some key races from statewide results.

On the Democratic ballot, Seth Moulton was the choice in Wellesley over incumbent Ed Markety for state senator, but Markey won the primary. Margie Palladino scored the hometown vote in the Governor’s Council race for District 3, but Mara Dolan won the state vote.

The general election is set for Nov. 3.
