Attend the Town of Wellesley’s annual September 11 ceremony honoring those who lost their lives on this tragic day in 2001. All are welcome for the 25th anniversary of this solemn remembrance, hosted by the Wellesley Fire Department headquarters at 457 Worcester St., at 10am.
The ceremony typically includes the pledge of allegiance; a remembrance of the World Trade Center Towers, Shanksville, PA, and the Pentagon; prayers; tolling of the fire station bells; and comments by local and state officials.
