Dana Hall Upper School to present The Penelopiad
November 3, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 7:30pm, repeating until November 4, 2017
WELLESLEY—The Dana Hall Upper School presents its fall play, The Penelopiad, on
Friday, November 3, and Saturday, November 4, at 7:30 p.m., in Bardwell Auditorium.
The performances are free and open to the public.
In Homer’s Odyssey, Penelope, wife of Odysseus, has become a symbol of wifely duty
and devotion, enduring 20 years of waiting when her husband goes to fight in the Trojan
War. In this new play, written for an all-female cast by Margaret Atwood (author of The
Handmaid’s Tale), Penelope and her wronged maids finally get to tell their side of the
story and set the record straight.
Bardwell Auditorium is located on the Dana Hall campus at 37 Cameron Street. Please
note that Bardwell is not handicap accessible. For more information, please call (781)
235-3010 ext. 2731 or visit www.danahall.org.
