Wellesley Choral Society concert
November 13, 2022 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm
The Wellesley Choral Society under the direction of Edward Whalen, will present its first concert of the 2022-2023 season on Sunday, November 13, at 3:00 p.m. at the Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, 207 Washington Street, Wellesley. The theme of the concert is “Anniversaries: Music of Tye (1505-1572), Tomkins (1572-1656), Schutz (1585-1672), Franck (1822-1890), and Vaughan Williams (1872-1958)”. Wellesley Choral Society members will be highlighted as soloists and in small ensembles. The Wellesley Choral Society is led by Edward Whalen, music director, and will be accompanied on piano by Hisako Hiratsuka. The Wellesley Choral Society has donated a limited number of tickets to Wellesley seniors who may pick them up at the Council on Aging at the Tolles Parsons Center, 500 Washington St., Wellesley.
