American Revolution reenactment at Needham Town Common
For the third straight year, one of New England’s leading reenacting units, The King’s Own (4th Foot), is bringing its mix of history and fun to Needham Town Common May 30, 
9 am-1 pm. See Redcoats drilling and preparing for war. Learn about equipment, organization, tactics, and weapons. Come face to face with soldiers sent to prevent or stop the American Revolution, and participate in an interactive debate on independence. Kids will have the chance to learn to march and handle (child safe!) muskets. Sponsored by the Needham Council for Arts and Culture.
