Stephen Puleo, author, historian, teacher, public speaker, and communications professional, will appear on May 5 @ 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm at the Eliot Church, 45 Eliot Street (Rt. 16), South Natick, MA. The event, organized by the Bacon Free Library, is jointly sponsored by the library, the Eliot Church, and the Natick Historical Society. A reception will follow the talk. Stephen is, famously, the author of Dark Tide: The Great Boston Molasses Flood of 1919 and all six of his books have been Boston regional bestsellers. At this event, Stephen will discuss his latest book American Treasures: The Secret Efforts to Save the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Gettysburg Address. Be ready for a treat as Stephen is an acclaimed storyteller and speaker! Stephen’s books will be available for purchase and signing. Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Bacon Free Library. Registration is requested so we know how many books and canapes to have on hand.
