The Music Department’s semi-annual Herrmann Lecture Series welcomes composer and pianist Vijay Iyer, Franklin D. and Florence Rosenblatt Professor of the Arts at Harvard University. Iyer will explore the concept of musicality as an embodied, affective, and temporal practice distinct from both “music” and “musicking.”
