Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Concert to Benefit Afghan Refugees
February 11 @ 7:45 pm - 9:15 pmfree donations welcome
Classical and contemporary music features professional musicians, including Wellesley residents Lina Musayev and Andy Langowitz on flute. Lina will also share her remarkable journey as a refugee 30 years ago. The Immigration Justice Group at Temple Beth Elohim, with support from St Andrew’s, UU, and the Village Churches, welcomed an Afghan family in October and anticipate the arrival of a second family in late January – mid-February. The concert is free, but donations are greatly appreciated (sponsoring organizations are required to raise at least $35,000 per family as well as provide sufficient volunteers), and the temple hopes sponsor a third family.
