Coping with climate change distress

Dr. Kelsey Hudson, Sustainable Wellesley, and the Wellesley Board of Health invite you to an event on Thursday, March 3rd, from 7-8:30pm to discuss the psychological response to climate change. This event is targeted to students and young adults but parents, grandparents, caregivers, and the general public— are all welcome. Learn how climate change impacts our mental health, common reactions, and actionable strategies for coping. Dr. Hudson will also provide additional resources.
Dr. Hudson is a child/adolescent Clinical Psychologist at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University. She is a member of the Climate Psychology Alliance – North America (CPA-NA) and leads the Youth Focus and Outreach Subcommittee through the CPA-NA. In 2021, Dr. Hudson received a certificate in Climate Change and Health, Yale School of Public Health and opened a private practice specializing in treating climate distress. Register here.
