Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Engineering Exploration with EXPLO
In-person at the Wellesley Free Library
Thursday, January 19, 2023
3:15pm – 4:45pm
EXPLO is moving to Regis College this summer with programs for grades 4-7. Come celebrate a bit of EXPLO magic with a hands-on creative event at the Wellesley Library.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Come meet EXPLO to explore, create, and collaborate on some engaging, fun, hands on projects that will get you thinking in new ways. This week, you’ll take on the role of a high-end design firm that needs to create a sink for a zany animal spa. Use recycled materials and the design thinking process to engineer a one-of-a-kind solution for a client (who might just happen to be a moose, a t-rex, or a chicken). To learn more about EXPLO, visit explo.org.
This program is for children in grades 4 – 7 only.
Registration is required starting one week in advance.
