Submit your event/s. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

“Eunice” book talk With Pulitzer Prize-winning author Eileen McNamara
October 16, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
On October 16th at 7 pm, Eileen McNamara, author of “Eunice”, will discuss the life and times of Eunice Kennedy Shriver, whose efforts on behalf of the intellectually disabled left behind one of the Kennedy family’s most profound political legacies. While Joe Kennedy was grooming his sons for the White House, his Stanford-educated daughter Eunice was tapping her father’s fortune and her brothers’ political power to engineer one of the great civil rights movements of our time. McNamara was given full access to all of Eunice’s papers. Sponsored by and held at UU Wellesley Hills, 309 Washington St. For more information: call 781-235-7423 or go to http://www.uuwellesley.org/ adult-learning/.
