Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Fairy and Woodland Troll House Building
October 2 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
The annual Woodland Troll and Fairy House building event happens at Pickle Point Sanctuary during Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend (Saturday, Oct. 2). On arrival at Pickle Point Sanctuary the children choose a tree and build their own Woodland Troll or Fairy House using the natural materials gathered along their walk. It is a magical event and the children have a great time imagining their fairy land.
In years past the children’s creations have endured for a long time. The wish of the Wellesley Conservation Land Trust is to expose the children to nature’s wonders while having fun.
Park on Kendall Road where the Cochituate Aqueduct and the Crosstown Trail cross near 49 Russell Road. You will be given a paper bag to collect your natural materials and guided a short walk to Pickle Point Sanctuary on Morses Pond. Event info on Facebook.
Designed for children of all ages and their families. No registration is required.
