Film Screening of “If Only”

Join the Youth Commission and the PTOs of Wellesley High School and Wellesley Middle School on Wednesday, October 19 for a screening of the film “If Only.”
“If Only” follows the story of two teenage boys who experiment with and become addicted to drugs.
The screening will take place in the Wellesley High School Auditorium from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The film has been viewed by hundreds of thousands of teens, parents and adults across the country to help raise awareness about the dangers of prescription drug misuse. It’s intended to encourage conversations around substance use disorder prevention, diversion and recovery.
A panel discussion will follow the screening featuring the movie’s producer Jim Wahlberg and guests including WHS Social Worker and Adjustment Counselor Alice Goodrich, and WHS School Nurse Shari Johnson.
