Flag Day event in Wellesley
Wellesley will hold its annual Flag Day event on Saturday, June 14 at 1 p.m. to retire and appropriately dispose of worn and tattered American flags. The event will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery with the assistance of the Wellesley Fire Department. Flags to be retired may be dropped off at Town Hall or at the Recycling & Disposal Facility on Great Plain Avenue until noon on Wednesday, June 11. Please remove any sticks, poles, or hanging material.
