Submit your event/s. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Foundation for MetroWest Presents: COVID-19 and Stories of Resilience
December 2, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

COVID-19 has had a devastating impact on many of our nonprofit partners and the clients they serve; but through it all, their stories of hope and courage remind us how resilient the human spirit is in the face of adversity.
As we enter the holiday season, the Foundation for MetroWest invites you to join us for our final virtual town hall of the year. Grab your favorite mug with coffee or tea and join us on Wednesday, December 2nd at 10 AM to hear inspiring stories from some of our incredible nonprofit partners. These organizations will share stories of resilience, hope and perseverance throughout what has been a trying year.
Discussion will be moderated by Caroline Murphy, Director of Programs.
Program:
- Brief MetroWest Emergency Relief Funding Update
- Moderated Storytelling with MetroWest Nonprofit Partners
- Q&A Discussion with Nonprofit Partners
- Update on ONEmetrowest Campaign
Nonprofit partners joining the event will be announced soon, but expect to hear stories that cover an array of cause areas including, but not limited to, youth development, arts and culture, and immigration.
