Guided Wellesley trails walk: Guernsey Path & Waban Arches
Guernsey Trail & Waban Arches
Saturday, June 7 (10-11:15 a.m.) – 2.1 miles
Celebrate National Trails Day with the Wellesley Trails Committee on this lovely walk through the beautiful Guernsey and Susan Lee Memorial Sanctuaries. Along the way, we’ll cross into Needham, stroll under and over the charming Waban Arches, and take a peek at a vernal pool. Did you know that Susan Lee is related to the Welles family, the very namesake of Wellesley?
Meet at the trailhead on Winding River Road (For GPS, use this address: 163 Winding River Road, Wellesley).
The walks are free, and no registration is required. Most walks cover 1.5 to 2 miles and last about one hour. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear.
Walks and events take place unless it pours rain or there are high winds.
