Submit your event/s. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Learn how to vote, ages 13 -17
February 10, 2020 @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
Voting — it’s a life skill
At some point in your life, you’re going to be expected to know how to do things that nobody ever really taught you how to do. When will that be? Nobody can say for sure, but you won’t want to feel unprepared. At the library they’ll teach you life-skills that you’ll need to know to be, like, a real adult. If you’re eligible to vote in the upcoming presidential election (not to mention all those important local elections and ballot initiatives), it is important to know all about how to register to vote, the deadline to register for different elections, where to go, when big elections happen, and how voting works.
