The Omni Parker House, from 1855 to today, will be the focus of talk on Boston’s oldest hotel
The story of Boston’s famous Omni Parker House will be presented by at 10 a.m. by hotel historian Susan Wilson as the guest speaker of Wellesley-Weston Lifetime Learning. Seniors from any community may attend the hour-long talk at Wellesley’s Unitarian church (309 Washington Street) as an introduction the the WWLL’s Greater Boston Cultural Institutions class. Prospective new students are welcome as guests for two weeks. Ms. Wilson, who writes and photographs books on Boston history, is an authority on the oldest of Boston’s elegant inns and the longest operating hotel in the United States.
