Submit your event/s. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

MBTA meeting about service cutbacks, changes
February 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until February 24, 2021
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) continues to make service changes due to low ridership caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In March, riders will see changes to the MBTA bus and subway networks. The Commuter Rail, which serves Wellesley, will undergo scheduling changes starting on April 5.
To prepare riders for these changes, the MBTA is holding virtual meetings on Wednesday, February 17 and Wednesday, February 24 from 6-8p.m.
Participants can ask questions and give feedback. Register in advance for these meetings. Interested residents who are unable to make the virtual meetings can also submit questions during weekly coffee chats.
More information is available on the MBTA website.
