The 2013 Broadway production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella is a contemporary retelling of the classic fairy tale. The story follows Cinderella, forced into servitude by her cruel stepmother and selfish step-sisters, who dreams of a better life. Unlike many versions of the story, this musical also weaves in themes of justice and compassion, as Cinderella helps the prince see the unfairness in his kingdom and inspires him to care for his people.
This event is free and open to the public. Registration is recommended.
