Paint drop-off at Wellesley Recycling & Disposal Area
Wellesley residents can drop off unused paint at the RDF (169 Great Plain Ave.) on Thursday June 5, 3-6pm. Empty paint cans with dry paint can disposed of year-round in the trash compactors.
If the RDF paint drop-off schedule doesn’t work for you, a new option is offered by Home Decor Group, which has a location in Wellesley Hills.
Bring your old paint cans (must be in original labeled containers) and Home Decor will recycle them through a partnership with Recolor—a company that specializes in paint reuse and recycling.
Fees for drop-off:
- $2 per quart
- $4 per gallon
- $15 per 5-gallon bucket
