Public hearing on future of softball fields
January 24 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
The town is planning to restore the Lee and Hunnewell softball fields along Washington Street and is asking for public input from residents.
Preliminary designs from the Department of Public Works and its contractors will be presented at the regular meeting of the Natural Resources Commission (NRC) on Thursday, January 24 at 7 p.m. in the Kingsbury Room of the Wellesley Police Station.
Residents are invited to provide input on those designs at a public hearing during the meeting, or to email the NRC with comments.
In 2018, the Wellesley Community Preservation Committee approved $100,000 to fund design plans for the softball field renovations.
