Submit your event/s. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

CANCELED: Public night at Whitin Observatory: Music of the Spheres with special performances by the Tupelos
March 14, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
CANCELED: About once a month during the spring and fall semesters, Wellesley College students and faculty open the Observatory to members of the public. Visitors are invited to take a tour, listen to talks, and (when clear) look through our 6-inch and 12-inch telescopes. There is a unique theme for each public night, so be sure to come often to expand your knowledge of the universe.
Public nights are free and will be held regardless of weather conditions. No reservations are required.
Children must be supervised by their grownups.
If you are visiting us for a Whitin Night, please know that the Observatory driveway and circle are closed to vehicles after sunset. Please see this link for directions and information about parking.
