School safety advocate to speak

Wellesley Action Alliance Welcomes Michele Gay, Nationally Recognized Advocate for School Safety

Michele is a Newtown parent and mother of Josephine Gay, killed in the tragedy at Sandy Hook School. She is a former teacher and founder of Safe and Sound Schools. Michele will share the inspiring way she has chosen to help school communities improve school safety and discuss the most pressing and timely concerns school communities face today.
-Supporting families in discussing school safety
-Addressing the unique needs of students of all ages and abilities
-Assisting educational staff on challenges of in-school training
-Community Q&A Discussion
